Visit Egypt’s most important biblical sites on a 2-day tour from Cairo that goes deep into the Sinai Desert. Pass by the Oyun Musa, or Moses Spring, where the prophet found sweet water during the exodus from Egypt, and travel under the Suez Canal. Follow in Moses’ footsteps as you climb Mount Sinai for a stunning desert sunrise over the rugged terrain. Explore the Saint Catherine Monastery, the legendary site of the burning bush, and home to an ancient library before returning to Cairo across the desert.

Day 01

Meet your guide in your hotel in the lobby (they will be holding a sign with your name). You will then head to Saint Catherine. On the way, you will travel under the Suez Canal which is the famous canal between Africa and Asia. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and finally arrive at St. Catherine area. Then check-in

Day 02

At 2 am you will have to get ready to climb the mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments, accompanied by a local Bedouin guide. Once you descend, you will meet your guide who will give you a guided tour of the monastery and then show you the burning bush. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
